Hi friends,
It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I announce my appointment to the Board of Directors at the LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center in White Plains, NY. This opportunity represents the convergence of two of my most profound passions: championing LGBTQ+ rights and taking an active leadership role within an organization that tirelessly fights for these rights each day.
For several years, I have proudly served as a dedicated business partner with the LOFT, and some of you may have spotted me at Westchester Pride this past June. I have constantly been inspired and impressed by the work that this organization is able to accomplish year after year. Now, as a member of the LOFT board, I am eager to contribute my skills and have a part in the progress of our communities.
In addition to my role on the LOFT board, I proudly hold a position on the Board of Directors at the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR), a role that involves representing and advocating for over 14,000 realtor members in the Hudson Valley area. My almost decade of experience in real estate fuels my passion for addressing the intersection of housing and queer rights. It's a crucial and pressing issue, as LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face unique housing challenges and discrimination.
With this dual commitment to the LOFT and HGAR, I am poised to bring my expertise, advocacy, and dedication to the forefront. Together with the LOFT community and my esteemed fellow board members, I am eager to embark on this exciting journey towards meaningful change.
I am so insanely grateful for this opportunity, and I am so grateful for everyone who has supported and continues to support the vision of a world where everyone is embraced, celebrated, and empowered, regardless of who they are or who they love. This is just the beginning, and I am so excited to see what the future holds. Thank you for being a part of this transformative journey and here's to what's next.
